Message I just bought a Clifford Matrix RSX 3.5, want auto-start, and am NOT going to tempt Murphy's ass by doing it w/o tying into a neutral sensor.

History:
Someone mentioned using the neutral sensor output on the diagnostics port. http://www.twinturbo.net/net/viewmsg.aspx?forum=general&msg_id=682996&forum=general&dtSearch=4

"There's a neutral sensor on the manual tranny. Look at page MT-5 in your maint manual. You'll have to
tap into it somehow. It does come all the way back to
the ECU - pin 44 on the connector. If you're exceedingly
clever you may be able to tap into it there."

(anyone know more about that?)

So you tie into this sensor, and somehow bypass the clutch pedal sensor? Anyone know the best way to tie into it?

Hey you! Nice car.

"I know; I keep telling myself... I shouldn't boost her all of the time. So I'll just drive normally . . . but then slowly slide my foot down, and instantly feel better about everything in the world. Boost is more addicting than I thought it would be. " - AbsoluteZ (OH)

"Still they make fun toys and isn't that really all a sports car is in the end? :) Don't get me wrong I'm 26 years old and still like toys....just expensive ones that could kill me." - lazer(AK)
